Sandra has been painting since the age of 11, when she started art and painting classes after school. It was a love affair that has lasted for over 30 years. After concentrating on art and photography in high school, she then went on to study Art & Design for 5 years, earning an Advanced Certificate of Art and Design, and a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design). Working for many years as a Graphic Designer, she has also sold her paintings in her spare time.
Covid and lockdowns in Melbourne, Australia, reignited Sandra's passion for painting and she started to paint more reguarly, enter exhibitions and sell her art online. Sandra enjoys experimenting with materials, styles and techniques, but always comes back to Acrylic on canvas. She creates realism, abstracts, and has also had some fun with her underwater jellyfish themes. She is looking forward to continually growing and evolving as a painter. Her favourite is to create large water themes abstracts. With her Graphic Design background, she also creates repeat patterns to sell on clothing and homewares.
